March Update

Hello all,
It’s been an exciting few months since being ordained at St Paul's Presbyterian and officially launching TheaTheos. Thank you so much for your prayers and support during this time! We are making great progress in getting the word out! Here are just a couple of the ways God has opened doors:

  • In January, I was able to perform a portion of Galatians for the entireMetro Atlanta Presbytery! It was a blessing to be able to lead them in a time of reflection and devotion, and the response has been very positive.

  • There will be an article about TheaTheos in the Fall issue of byFaith Magazine. For those that don’t know, this is the official magazine of the Presbyterian Church in America. It presents a great opportunity to spread the word beyond local and personal connections and reach people throughout the country.

How Can You Help?

Support:
My role at St Paul’s as an assistant pastor, which includes TheaTheos, is entirely support-based. Until I can raise enough money to support my family, I am continuing to work my job as a reporting analyst for a healthcare company while I serve the church and build this ministry. Thank you again to all of you that have contributed! At present, I am only about 15% of the way to that goal.If you are able, please consider partnering with me in this through either a one-time or recurring donation. This can be done either through the St Paul’s website (http://stpaulsatlanta.com/donate/give - make sure you select TheaTheos in the dropdown) or by mailing a check directly to St Paul’s with TheaTheos or Drew Archer in the memo. Here’s the Address:St Paul’s Presbyterian Church
163 Ponce De Leon Ave
Atlanta, GA 30308
Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
 Connections:
As I’m getting the word out and making connections, I have a desire that this would be a ministry for the entire body of Christ regardless of theological tradition. That includes getting out of my Reformed and Presbyterian “bubble” and bringing this to churches, schools, and campus ministries affiliated with other denominations. This can start with your local congregation! So, whether you are Presbyterian, Methodist, Catholic, Baptist, Anglican/Episcopal, Lutheran, Disciples of Christ, Charismatic, non-denominational, etc. (there’s a lot I’ve left out here), please consider reaching out to your church leadership and letting them know what I’m doing. I’d love to connect and serve!
Prayer:
Please continue to pray for me as I raise support and set up performances. In addition to churches, schools, theatres and campus ministries, I have also made some connections to bring this to prisons and transitional facilities. Please pray that God would use this to show his love to people that have often been neglected and under served by the church! If you have any thoughts or suggestions as to how I might better do this, please reach out! I welcome your input!

Thanks again for your prayers and support! Please reach out to me with any questions or comments. Also, please let Lindsey and I know how we can be praying for you. We are so grateful to have you on this journey with us!

His,
Drew
