Hello all,

It's been an exciting first year for TheaTheos! We've had over 20 presentations throughout Georgia and South Carolina, reaching over 4,000 people, with a few more scheduled before the year is over (see below for dates and locations). We also have a few exciting announcements:

A New Job!

I have just accepted a call to be the lead pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Newnan, GA! I'll start in January. We feel extremely grateful, blessed, and excited for this opportunity. Please pray for Lindsey, the kids and me as we transition there over the coming months.

Now, what does this mean for TheaTheos? The short answer is: it will continue! As pastor of CPC, I'll be there most Sunday mornings preaching and leading the worship service (again, something I am very excited to do). This means that TheaTheos will have a greater focus on special services and events that will occur throughout the week or on Sunday evenings. It also means that we have a greater geographical focus on reaching people in the metro Atlanta area and throughout the state (something we're basically doing already).

What does it mean financially?  Funds from TheaTheos will continue to cover administrative expenses as well as provide a small supplemental income to my pastor's salary at CPC. Tax-deductible donations can still be made through the Ponce Presbyterian Church (formerly St Paul's) website here. We make every effort never to turn down a presentation for financial reasons, so we rely heavily on those who desire to be on mission with us financially.

New Presentations!

In addition to Mark and Galatians, I'm excited to let you know about two new offerings:

  • Romans - this is offered in part or in whole. A special presentation of Romans 5-8 with a short sermon is formatted to fit perfectly in school chapels, evening worship, or campus ministry contexts. Please spread the word and reach out to me if you are interested in this for winter or spring 2019.

  • Luke 1-2 - this 18-minute presentation, walking through the first two chapters of Luke's Gospel, is perfect for Christmas services and gatherings. I still have some availability this month if this is a fit for your organization. Also, I'll be offering this next year, so please keep this in mind as you make plans.

More information is available on the website. Also, don't forget about Mark for any Lent/Easter related services!

Thank you again for your continued prayers and support! We're excited by what God will continue to do through TheaTheos! Please let us know how we can be praying for you and how we can serve your church, school, or other organization in the future.

His,
Drew Archer
