One of the great barriers of bringing arts ministries to people is finances

Too often, those who might benefit the most from a performance ministry of the Word cannot afford it. Campus ministries are already relying on outside support while churches and schools often lack discretionary funds to pay outside artists and pastors.

It is the desire of TheaTheos that finances would never be an obstacle for our ministry. If a church, school, campus ministry, or any other organization desires our services, we will be there.

Because of our desire to remove the financial barrier from bringing our ministry anywhere, we will rely on those God has called to partner with us through financial support. This will involve private donors as well as churches who have the financial means to provide support. This provides a wonderful opportunity to be on mission with TheaTheos as it seeks to fulfill both aspects of the Great Commission. By raising support, we will work towards sharing God’s Word with both nonbelievers and those who already have turned to Christ in faith and repentance. By sharing the Word of God we teach those who have already been baptized as well as those who have yet to be baptized.

The removal of financial barriers also encourages creativity and freedom for host groups. Performances can be conducted in nontraditional venues. What kinds of conversations might be started following a performance at a park, a local arts festival, a brewery, or a coffee house?
